Rhinoceros Matrix JewelCAD Zbrush

Rhinoceros

Rhino is one of the best tools to explore and develop a wide range of designs. General modeling tools provide a highly flexible way to transform designs into 3D. It visualizes changes in real-time and measures mass properties. Training materials, videos, and support are available.

With highly flexible and diverse plugins, Rhino offers excellent rendering images and provides customers with online sales opportunities.

In addition to these features, the ability to save in STL format has made it a favorite among 3D printer users.

Matrix

Matrix offers all the advantages of Rhino, along with a range of additional builders and special tools to make all the repetitive and laborious tasks of jewelry design (such as setting and stone arrangement adjustments) quick and easy. With these additional tools, Matrix will enable incredibly fast design for production.

One disadvantage Matrix has always had is its loading speed. It's a large program, and loading time is always noticeable. Another notable feature is that it prepares your designs for printing and casting with just a few clicks by accurately estimating the price. MatrixGold includes stone mapping, a material list, a technical report, and the option to create your materials.

JewelCAD

This software from India offers a more economical solution compared to other alternatives. It generally has a user-friendly interface designed for jewelry designers' use. This can help designers quickly learn and effectively design.

JewelCAD has an old and established history among jewelry design software. This means that the software may have developed over time and continuously improved based on user feedback.
Its most significant disadvantage is the lack of the ability to save in STL format; it provides outputs in SLC format.

Zbrush

ZBrush is a powerful tool for artists and particularly stands out in digital sculpture and character design. However, the learning curve can be steep, and fully mastering it can take some time.

ZBrush offers artists the ability to sculpt digitally. It enables the detailed and realistic modeling of 3D objects, characters, creatures, and more. ZBrush's unique feature is its ability to create objects with a more organic and handcrafted approach compared to other 3D modeling software.

ZBrush supports high-resolution details, allowing artists to add fine textures, wrinkles, surface patterns, and similar details in the utmost detail. While it includes basic rendering features, transferring your model to more advanced rendering programs for finalization and detailed visualization is more common.
