Transparent aligner application can help the patient;
- Cognitive alignment problems,
- Need for aesthetic correction,
- Interdental space,
- Orthodontic rectation,
- Cross bite
It is applied by the physician in case of problems such as braces. Compared to the traditional method of braces, it has various advantages as follows;
Invisibility: Since clear aligners are made of a transparent plastic material, they are almost invisible when worn on the teeth. This does not spoil the aesthetic appearance of the person during the treatment process and is especially preferred for adults.
Comfortable and Less Pain: Clear aligners are less uncomfortable than traditional braces because of the problems caused by braces, such as sharp edges or contact of the wires with the skin. The movement of the teeth is smoother and more controlled, which usually means less pain and discomfort.
Removability: Clear aligners can be easily removed for daily activities such as eating, brushing and flossing. This helps maintain better hygiene and, unlike traditional braces, can help avoid problems such as food particles getting stuck.
Flexibility: During the treatment process, you can temporarily remove the aligners for some personal events or special occasions. This can be especially advantageous for occasions such as social events or important meetings.
Reduced Doctor Visits: While traditional braces treatment usually requires regular doctor visits, clear aligner treatment sometimes requires less frequent follow-up visits. This can reduce time and travel costs for patients.
3D Technology and Personalization: Clear aligner treatment is usually planned using 3D scanning and modeling technologies. Each aligner is specially designed to correct a specific stage of the teeth. This makes the treatment more customized and effective.
No Damage to Tooth Enamel: Clear aligners minimize the risk of enamel damage or discoloration that can occur when braces rub against the enamel.
Speed and Efficiency: Clear aligner treatment can give faster results compared to traditional braces in certain cases. However, the speed of treatment depends on the individual case and should be based on your doctor's assessment.
These aligners wrap the teeth in three dimensions and allow them to be placed where we want them to be placed with minimal movement in the desired direction. The aligners are changed once a week to allow for small movements without damaging the teeth.
These plaques are digitally measured and individually prepared with special computer programs. They do not require frequent control appointments. They do not allow unwanted movements of the teeth, providing predictable treatment results. In this way, the treatment time is shortened and they do not require frequent control appointments. The material is completely bio-compatible.
Clear aligner brands;
ORTHERO, Clearfix, Orthoaligner, Invisalign, Transparent, Aparey are among the most successful and existing brands in Turkey. In addition to these, the production principles of all brands such as Clearfix Transparent Plaque, EON Transparent Plaque are the same.
The flow proceeds as follows;
Digital Measurement (intraoral scanning) - Treatment Planning - 3D Printing - Aligner Production
After the digital impression is taken, special software and plug-ins are used to calculate how many stages the patient's tooth structure will reach the desired level and the appropriate steps are decided.
Printing and Application
After the models with treatment plans are digitally created in the necessary design programs, they are ready for hanging.
Positioning
Vertical printing is available for orthodontic models. You can print vertically and without support for orthodontic applications. Make sure that the surface you place on the base is flat, if it is not flat, support will be required. For non-orthodontic models, we do not recommend vertical printing. The layer marks on the labial surfaces are more visible.
The printed and cured models are subjected to thermoforming process to obtain transparent aligners.
